Chinese media to ignore Xinhua and only follow Ministry of Propaganda

Wow!

Even Xinhua is on the list of news organizations local media in China cannot use in a story.

Ministry of Truth: In Assault Reports, No Xinhua Allowed

Seems Xinhua had some pointed remarks about a dust up between a military official and a flight attendant. So the Ministry of Propaganda ordered Chinese media to “strictly adhere to the requirements previously issued by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Propaganda. Do not reprint related Xinhua copy” (My emphasis)

What is this world coming to when the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party is not allowed to be quoted by Chinese newspapers?
