A (temporary) crack in the Cuban Internet blockade

Cuba has to put on a show when it gets international conferences. And it looks as if the 2011 Havana International Computer Science Fair is one such event.

For Generation Y blogger, Yoani Sánchez, the presence of many foreign guests to the fair means the government needs to show an image of tolerance of citizen expression.

We all know this is not true most of the time. But for now, even Sanchez can see her own blog as the Internet filters get lifted.
